About MCC Canada

Mennonite Central Committee Canada (MCCC) is the Canadian arm of Mennonite Central Committee (MCC). MCC, founded in 1920, is a relief and development service agency. As the name indicates, the organization reflects joint ownership by various Mennonite and Brethren in Christ Churches in Canada and the United States.

 

MCCC, founded in 1963, is supported by 15 different Mennonite and Brethren in Christ groups. The national office supports program in Quebec, the Maritimes and Newfoundland and Labrador. MCCC assists the BC, AB, SK, MB and ON provincial offices in coordinating initiatives. These provincial offices are independently incorporated with their own boards of directors and carry program and fund-raising responsibilities within their province.
