Beautiful scenery and exercise for a good cause await participants in bicycle tours that benefit MCC. Rides across Canada and the United States welcome riders of all ages and skill levels.

Riders raise money for MCC through registration fees and pledged donations. Several of the rides are connected with MCC relief sales.

Bike the Interlake

A two-day 192 km ride through Manitoba's Interlake Region. Begins at Birds Hill Park and travels north along Lake Winnipeg to Hecla Island.

Cycle Clear Lake

Ride Details

A 35 km (3-4 hour) cycle on a single trail around Clear Lake. A group campsite is booked for Friday and Saturday night for participants. A minimum of $150 in pledges is required to participate.

MCC Black Hills Bike Hike Event

September 4-7, 2008

Ride Details

Bikers will cycle through 175 miles of beautiful scenery in the Black Hills of South Dakota on terrain that is hilly with short steep grades. Hikers will experience 40 miles on popular Black Hills trails with a variety of terrain from well groomed paths to more primitive trails. Both groups will visit Crazy Horse Monument, Mt. Rushmore, Needles, Custer State Park, Mt. Coolidge, Sylvan Lake and more.

The event will be raising money for MCC Native American Programs and Partnerships on the Pine Ridge Reservation in SW South Dakota.

FLATLANDER BICYCLE RIDE

Ride Details

Enjoy early autumn in Kansas on the Flatlander Bike Ride! The Flatlander is a benefit for MCC and part of the registration fee goes toward a water development project in Mexico. The registration fee includes a catered lunch, sags with homemade cookies, and a T-shirt. Additional contributions collected by riders are encouraged, with a $50 gift certificate for the rider or family who raises the most money. Rides range in distance from eight to 65 miles.
