World AIDS Day- December 1

The world is witnessing unprecedented growth in efforts to stop the spread of AIDS and care for people affected by the disease, according to Sarah Adams, AIDS program coordinator for MCC. However, there is also a growing realization of the difficulty and complexity of stopping the pandemic. On World AIDS Day, communities around the world remember those lost to AIDS and those who continue to live with the effects of HIV/AIDS. World AIDS Day also marks the achievements made, and the work still to be done, in the fight against HIV/AIDS.
